SkyFire Extravaganza (plus) Topless Mod/SportMod Shootout (plus) DAV Nite!

In honor of Independence Day, Drew County Speedway will present a “tantalizing topless double dip” of Mod Squad Mayhem (plus) the 1st annual SkyFire Extravaganza fireworks display this Saturday night.

The fireworks show will fly high into the Monticello sky right after the last main event!

On the high-banks, the ground-pounding Pro Modifieds in a special 30-lap shootout ($1500 to win) … and the lightning-fast Super 8 SportMods in a 30-lap feature ($750 to win).

Also on the dance card; the freakin’ Street Stocks, hammer-time Hobby Stocks, ultra-crazed Trade Wynds Motorcycle Accessories and Apparel of Stuttgart Cruisers, and those always mighty-fine Mini Stocks.

Just added to the star-studded schedule will be the dedication of the brand-new DAV Flagpole. Disabled American Veterans will install the new infield flagpole on Friday and proudly raise the American flag during the national anthem on Saturday.

DAV members will also be handing out free “forget-me-not flowers” in remembrance of all fallen soldiers, prisoners of war, and disabled veterans.

in memory of Faith Reed … will present Firefighter Nite, EconoBox Drags, 50/50 raffle, and the star of the show!

Showing at Thunder Theater (hosted by: South Arkansas TV, Satellite, and Audio) will be the NASCAR Cup race live from the Daytona.

The pits and VIP tailgate suites open @ 4:30pm, grandstands open @ 5:30pm, hot-laps and playground @ 6pm, and the show starts @ 7 sharp.

Adults are only $15.00 / seniors and military are $13.00 / juniors 6-14 are $11.00 / and kids 5 and under are free. Plenty of free parking is provided by the great folks at Pines Broadcasting.
